Worth the Wait

I love this family, I had a great time getting to know them when I shot their maternity photos and got to know them even more for this one. Plus I finally got to meet the adorable Mya who was well worth the wait! I spent a few hours with this family waiting for Mya to reach that deep sleep. I was entertained by the hilarious Talia, convinced to share lunch with them and received some great business tips from Chris! I am always so amazed by this couples' patience, humour and wonderful parenting skills! And finally Mya gave in and feel perfectly asleep for me. Thanks again for welcoming me into your home and a big welcome to the world, little Mya!

I was happy when I received the email saying that Mya was here and she was a girl, as I had just made some new headbands I wanted to try out. Also I ordered a few crochet patterns off Etsy and my mom had been crocheting away, only we were struggling with knowing the correct sizing. It's really hard to gage the size of a newborn when all you have around is a 14 month old!
