Finlay Knudsen

This was the first newborn photoshoot I've done since becoming a mother myself. Arlo is just 4 months old and yet I have already forgotten just how tiny newborns are. Arlo seemed so big to me when I went home and held him!

Finlay is a gorgeous little boy who has been born into a family with wonderful parents and an adorable older sister. Thank you Phil and Joy for letting me into your beautiful home to capture these photos.

Joy and Phil's sister-in-law made this penguin. Isn't it adorable? They are encouraging her to sell them on Etsy. I'd be first in line for one!

While we took these photos, Sophia was sound asleep after playing at the pool with her cousins. In trying to get her in a couple of photos, we woke her up. And unfortunately she didn't wake up the happiest, nor the most willing to be photographed! But we decided to just go with it anyhow. These photos may not be the most photographically arranged but I love that they are just the realities and unpredictabilities of life!
